Award winning actress/ writer/producer/ voice over artist Diz White recently appeared in the pilot The Misadventures of Fiona Plum directed by Sheldon Epps for Warner Bros and the Independent feature Thunderbird directed by Ward Swan.Diz won a New York Critic's Drama Desk Award for the role of Consuelo in EL GRANDE DE COCA-COLA which she conceived and co-wrote. The show, which ran for two years Off-Broadway in New York was televised as a comedy special by HBO. El Grande de Coca-Cola has been produced in seven major U.S. cities and in over twenty countries throughout the world and is published as a playscript by Samuel French. A video of El Grande de Coca-Cola was requested for the archives of the Library of Congress.

After finding a Bulldog Drummond novel in an antique bookstore in London, England, which she used as her inspiration, Diz conceived a theater spoof entitled BULLSHOT CRUMMOND that she co-wrote, and in which she starred in New York, London and
Los Angeles. Diz was nominated for an ACE CABLE Award when Showtime televised BULLSHOT CRUMMOND as a comedy special.

 

 

Ex-Beatle George Harrison's HandMade Films produced the comedy feature BULLSHOT
which Diz co-wrote and adapted from the stage play. Bullshot aired recently on the Independent Film Channel and is available in video release through Thorn EMI.
Bullshot Crummond has been produced in fifteen countries throughout the world is published as a playscript by Samuel French. The novelization of Bullshot Crummond is published by W.H. Allen & Co. Ltd. of Great Britain.

By special request from Showtime Diz conceived and co-wrote the play FOOTLIGHT FRENZY which ran in San Francisco and Los Angles and was then televised by Showtime as a comedy special

She performed the voice of JACKIE KENNEDY in the PBS documentary Jackie Behind the Myth
Diz will perform the voice of Jackie Kennedy again in an upcoming documentary featuring the letters of Jackie Kennedy.
